Cottage

Sawmill cottage is set in the garden grounds of Kylintra Mill

Hallway

The main entrance hallway has hat and coat storage and give access to the following rooms:-

Living Room / Dining Room

In the living room are 2 leather sofas, there is a 43" Smart TV with Freeview and has Netflix, Amazon, You Tube and more built in.

There is a DVD player and some DVD´s for you to watch. Also a woodburning stove to keep you warm in the winter.

This is a comfy room with a fully vaulted ceiling. There is a patio door for outside access.

The dining area has a table and 4 chairs

Kitchen

The kitchen is modern and well appointed with built in Oven, Hob, Fridge and Freezer.

There is also a washing machine, microwave, kettle, plates, cups and cooking utensils. In fact everyhting you will need

Bedroom

A king size sleigh bed with sumptous Hypnos matress and Egyptian cotton bedding.

CO² monitor is built in

All this guarantees a comfortable nights sleep

Our cottage is located 50m from the River Spey with direct access to the woodland surrounding Grantown-on-Spey. You can drive into the centre in 2 minutes or take a stroll through the woods and be in the centre in 10 to 15 minutes.

Grantown is known as the Gateway to the Whisky Trail but apart from Whisky there is a lot more to offer.

The town is surrounded by ancient woodland and you can explore the Anagach Woods, which cover nearly 1000 acres, on foot or bicycle.

Fishing is also popular and the Spey is known as one of the bast in Scotland with both Trout and Salmon fishing possible in the local association waters some of which are directly opposite the cottage.

In winter skiing is possible and we are exactly half way between both The Lecht and Cairngorm ski areas.

The local Anagach Woods have many ancient pine trees and a diverse range of wild plants and bird life, it is possible to see (depending on the season) Capercaillie, Red Squirrel, Pine Martins, Crested Tits and Crossbills, to name a few

The town itself has a variety of shops, restaurants, cafes, pub and supermarkets.

A bicycle hire shop is available next to the Co-op supermarket in The Square
