Inverness Airport
Inverness Airport is located outside of Inverness and is 31 miles from Grantown.
The airport has regular flights to London Heathrow, Gatwick and Luton as well as other destinations including Amsterdam Schiphol.
Car hire from Avis and Europcar is available in the terminal.
Aberdeen Airport
Aberdeen Airport is 1 1/2 away from Grantown by car
Is has regular flights to London Heathrow, City, Luton and southend. There are also regular flights to European destinations including Amsterdam Achiphol and Paris Charles De Gaulle.
All major car hire companies operate from the airport including Avis, Hertz, Europcar, Enterprise and Sixt.
Edinburgh Airport
It takes just over 2 1/2 hours by car to Grantown from Edinburgh Airport.
On this journey you will travel over the Drumochter Pass where you will get a chance to see some of the most dramatic scenery in Scotland.
As well as being served from 5 London airports it has flights direct to many European destinations.
In the dedicated car hire centre, next to the terminal, you will find Alamo, Europcar, Budget, Avis, Hertz, Sixt and Thrify.
Trains
Aviemore Station
Aviemore station is the closest to us and has regular bus links to Grantown.
The station is on the East Coast mainline which serves Kings Cross, York, Edinburgh and Inverness.

There is a bus stop directly in front of our apartment.
There are services to Inverness, Aviemore and Elgin operated by StageCoach.
