Grantown, founded in 1765 by Sir James Grant lies in the very heart of the Highlands and is a perfect base from which to explore the North of Scotland.
The town is in the Cairngorm National Park and is one of the best preserved of Scotland“s planned towns. The famous River Spey flows through here and the river give its name to the range of whiskies known as Speyside malts.
