Being based in Grantown is an ideal location for skiing

We are located exactly half way between Cairngorm and The Lecht ski areas. There is also cross country skiing available in Glenmore (close to Cairngorm Mountain). Locally cross country is permitted on our local golf course and in the Anagach Woods when the conditions permit this.

Cairngorm Mountain

Cairngorm Mountain, one of Scotland´s most spectacular snowsports destinations is located just 11 miles from Aviemore. It has 30k of pisted runs with 10 lifts.

There is on-site equipment hire available for both skiing and Snowboarding

Lecht 2090

The Lecht ski area is just after Tomintoul on the raod to Strahdon. It is in a snowsure gully located beside the road, so this gives easy access from your car.

The are a variety of runs to suit all levels from complete beginner to advanced.

A limited area pass is available which gives access to Osprey, Robin, Wren, Magic Carpet and Kestrel lifts.

Glenmore Cross Country Trails

Start in Glenmore, the trails are located around the picturesque Loch Morlich in the shadow of Cairngorm Mountain.

The trails are free to use ans equipment hire is available in Glenmore from the shop there.
